The short version

- What you type into the Mapper never leaves your browser.
- If you submit a form, we use it only to respond to you.
Military Experience Mapper
Everything you enter in the Mapper (branch, specialty, goal, hours, and checklist ticks) is processed in your browser. It is saved in your browser's local storage on your device so you don't have to retype it, and it isnever sent to us. "Print / save" and "Download" also happen entirely on your device. Use "Clear all inputs" or clear your browser data to remove it.
Post a job / contact form
If you submit the form, we store what you typed (role, name, email, organization, location, aircraft type, pay range, and details) along with the submission time, so we can respond and follow up about your request.
- We don't store your IP address or browser details with the submission.
- Submissions are stored with our hosting provider, Cloudflare.
- We keep submissions only as long as we need them to respond and follow up, and we delete them on request.
Hosting, security & analytics
The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes standard request data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver and protect the site.
- Spam protection: the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks whether a visitor is likely human. Cloudflare processes limited technical signals for this check, under its own privacy policy.
- Analytics: we may use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookie-free, doesn't track you across sites, and gives us aggregate counts like page views.
Cookies & local storage
We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. The Mapper uses your browser's local storage only to remember your own inputs on your own device.
Sharing
We don't sell or rent personal information. If you post a job or ask to partner with us, we may contact you about that request. We'd share information only with service providers that run the site (like Cloudflare) or if required by law.
Your choices
You can ask us what we have about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailinghello@example.com.
Children
The site is meant for people exploring careers, including high school students. It is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes & contact
If we change how we handle information (for example, adding accounts), we'll update this page and the date at the top. Questions: hello@example.com.
